Pastor Mario and Stephanie Trujillo came to City Church in the Spring Of 2016. We are a blended family with three adult children. We are both natives of Pueblo,Colorado and came to faith in Christ in our late 20’s, through a powerful encounter with Jesus. Since then Jesus has called us to love and serve His church and love our neighbor. We have experienced the power of the Gospel and see that Jesus meets us where we’re at but Jesus doesn’t leave us there. He transforms and makes all things new. It is our heart to be catalysts and we long for the church to function and operate as it was called and empowered to be. Our hope is to see City Church be a life-giving,Spirit-led church to the Pueblo, Colorado area that lives in genuine community, that is centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ and lives as disciples that make disciples. We want to see the Kingdom of God break through our city and see lives transformed by the Gospel. Since 2016, City Church has grown and continues to grow by the power of God. We have seen Jesus Christ meet people where they’re at and Jesus has powerfully transformed their lives. One of the things that characterizes City Church is our desire to be Spirit-led disciples who intentionally love people and passionately proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all areas of our lives.

Clinton Smith was born and raised in Colorado. He has participated in college ministry leadership, and led joint christian fellowship events on his campus. These college ministries helped him develop a passion for people and a firm belief that Jesus’s sacrifice was meant for all of mankind, and that all Christians are united under this purpose. Clinton started attending City Church a little over a year ago. He co-leads a small group, participates on the worship team, and serves anywhere that he is needed at City Church. Even though he hasn’t been a member for long, Clinton believes in City Church’s Mission, people, and love.
