We believe that God created Adam and Eve in His image, a perfect creation to walk alongside God. As told in Genesis, they fell from perfection (sinned) when disobeying God’s command after being tempted by Satan with the lie that man had no need for God and could be like God Himself. This sin brought physical death into the world and spiritual death to all mankind. This caused a great separation between God and man. Because of this separation, all mankind finds itself spiritually dead, condemned as sinners, born alienated from God, living as His enemy. Only through God’s gracious gift of salvation, provided by what Jesus Christ accomplished by His death on the cross and resurrection, can any man or woman be rescued, reconciled, and made alive by God Himself.
