We believe that the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus in all that He does. He convicts the world, regenerates sinners, and in Him they are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs in the family of God. He also indwells, illuminates, guides, teaches, equips and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service. We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent into the world by the Father and the Son to apply the saving work of Christ. We believe that He enlightens the minds of sinners, awakens in them recognition of their need for a Savior, and regenerates them. It is He who guides believers in understanding and application of the Bible. We believe that, at the point of salvation, He permanently dwells in each believer as a seal of their salvation, and is the source of assurance, strength, and wisdom, uniquely equipping each believer with gifts for ministry, and sanctifying them to bear fruit to glorify God.
